Fees on a $2,000 winning bid?
Copart (clean/secured/pre-bid): ~$653 fees = $2,653 out-the-door. IAAI (proxy): ~$775 fees = $2,775 — before shipping & customs.
Does paying by card raise fees?
Yes at Copart — unsecured payment (card/PayPal) carries a much higher buyer fee, and any unsecured portion reprices the whole purchase. Wire whenever possible.
Cheapest way to buy at auction?
Clean title + secured funds + pre-bid instead of live + buying via Eaqlaa licensed account (saves broker fees).
